CABINETS: Lloyd’s Custom Wood Cabinets can be kept in excellent condition by wiping them down regularly with warm water and a soft cloth then follow with a soft dry cloth for any excess water. For heavier soiling we recommend adding a small amount of white vinegar to hot water again follow with a soft dry cloth to remove any excess water. Please do not use any detergents or soaps (i.e. Murphy’s oil soap) as this can harm the finish and cause problems if the cabinets ever need to have the finish touched up. If you prefer we also sell Guardsman Wood Cleaner for older cabinets that have some build up or tough greasy fingerprints. There is no need to polish or wax the cabinets more than once or twice a year. We recommend a no wax polish formula like Guardsman Wax Free Furniture Polish in the Spray Bottle. We carry both Guardsman products in our store. Laminated cabinets are best when cleaned with hot soapy water then thoroughly dried with a soft cloth. For tougher cleaning situations or to bring out the laminates luster you can use a product called Cabinet and Wood Magic which we also carry in store. COUNTERTOPS: DuPont™ Corian® products can be washed with warm soapy water and a soft cloth then dry completely with a soft cloth. If there is a stain or heavier soiling you can use a green scotch bright pad with any abrasive cleaner. Make sure you do the whole area as opposed to spot cleaning. For your Corian® solid surface sink we recommend using an abrasive cleaner and a green scotch bright pad at least once a week. Soft abrasive cleaners or spray products will not produce the desired results. Corian products have a natural luster that comes through when they are regularly cleaned. For heavier cleaning needs you can use a nonabrasive cleansing pad and a glass and surface cleaner that does not contain bleach. For more information visit: http://www2.dupont.com/Surfaces/en_US/products/zodiaq/zodiaq_care.html http://www.cambriausa.com/pdf/care_maintenance.pdf *Both solid surface materials are best when completely dried with a soft cloth after any cleansing process. Also avoid the use of bleach or products containing bleach. It is also advised that you always use cutting boards and heat pads or trivets to protect against heat and scratches. These products are heat and scratch Resistant not heat and scratch Proof. Laminate Surfaces can be cleaned with a warm soapy cloth and dried. Countertop Magic can be applied for a nice luster after the cleaning. We also carry this product in our store.
