This initial conversation helps us understand your project and preferences. It also gives us the opportunity to further explain our design process.
In-Home Consultation
A Lloyd's Cabinet Shop representative will come out to your home, to see the space you are remodeling as well as get a feel for your home’s style. It would be helpful for you to have any design examples/photos/things you’d like to see in your remodel ready to show us at this meeting. Measurements will be taken and questions will be asked to help us design specifically to your needs and preferences.
Custom Design & Proposal
Much time, effort and creativity goes into this important step. We’ll use our experience and expertise to create a personalized design that is both functional and beautiful. We will create floor plans and 3D design views of your future space to help you visualize what your project will look like when we are finished. We will be in touch with our vendors, trade partners, and in-house install team so that we have detailed tear out and installation pricing. We take the time to make all the selections with you up-front so that you have detailed specifications including countertop/backsplash/cabinets/door style/electrical/plumbing/tile/lighting.
Proposal Review Meeting in Our Showroom
We will present your written proposal that explains the details and costs of your project. You will see specific designs as well as a complete floor plan.
Determine Next Step
After the Proposal Review Meeting we will ask what you’d like to do next. Most of the time the next step is to update the design and proposal based on updates discussed during your Proposal Review Meeting.
The design fee of 2% of the High-End Project Estimate Range for Kitchens (Minimum $750) or 2% of the High-End Project Estimate Range for Bathrooms (Minimum $325) is non-refundable and will be applied towards your overall project costs when signing with Lloyd’s Cabinet Shop, Inc. The design deposit covers the upfront costs of our design team during the initial stages of your project and includes up to 2 Design revisions.
